G&M were appointed geotechnical and geo-environmental consultants overseeing the site investigation of an old industrial works in central Sheffield.

Works consisted of twelve window samples and eight trial pits over two days to assess the type and extent of contamination on the site.

The investigation also included the forming of six open hole rotary drilled positions to examine the potential for mine workings beneath the site.
